THIS IS BY FAR THE MOST COMMON PROBLEM NEW CENTOVA V3 USERS HAVE -- IF YOUR USING SHOUTCAST V2 AND LISTED IN THE PUBLIC SHOUTCAST DIRECTORY YOU MUST FIRST SET YOUR YPHASH (IE. YOUR LISTING TITLE, GENRE AND BASIC STATION INFORMTION
By default, we now set all Centova v3 / SHOUTcast v2 accounts up set to private, which means your are not listed in the SHOUTcast directory. We do this because if the stream is set to be listed, when you start the server for the first time, the auto dj and server appear to be playing, however you do not hear any music. This is because the YP Hash has not yet been created. This is the reason we now set accounts up as private, it appeared to the client there was a problem when in fact they simply missed the last step of setting up a SHOUTcast 2 server up for the first time.

If you would like to be listed, you must first got the server overrides tab under settings in your Centova v3 panel, switch the dropdown menu under the public server section to always and restart server. You can now create the YP Hash, please follow the video for complete step by step instructions.
